TheRoom LIVE 10 years of secrets will host Soulnoise (Electricano B2B Uppfade)
On Friday 5 August, as part of TheRoom LIVE | 10 years of secrets event, the Soulnoise project - Electricano B2B Uppfade will be seen in action!
Electricano & Uppfade can be safely called two of the most productive Latvian electronic music producers in the international scene (more than 100 original tracks and remixes released since 2003!!). The growth of both producers over the past decade is visible in geometric progression, and the tracks released by the Jelgava-based artists are a musically developed and polished signature over the years, which cannot be obtained through a single established radio hit
In the early 2000s Uppfade became the first Latvian producer to prove to the locals that quality electronic music can be produced in Latvia by releasing it on labels with international reputation (Bedrock, Symphonic, Renaissance, etc.). His first notable tracks that rocked dance floors such as "Friday Loops" and "Manteca Grooves" were followed by a more interesting and varied sound, as evidenced by his releases and co-proposals in different genres. In 2014 Upfade was the winner of the international competition for young producers "Corona Sunsets: Sound Of The Beach" (Ibiza). Upfade is the first and only Latvian to win an international production competition of this level.
Electricano can be safely called the most active and one of the most experienced Latvian producers of electronic music. Since his debut album "Harmony of Soul" was released in 2005 on the London label "Alternative Roure Recordings", his compositions have been released every year on serious labels and Electricano's discography proves it. The label names that adorn his releases Toolroom Records, Alternative Route, Proton, Spring Tube, Neurotraxx, Electronique, etc. speak more as facts than coincidence.
Electricano's name was first heard in the Baltics during the 2007 dance music show "Sensation White" in Riga, when Electricano remixed the Latvian supergroup Prāta Vētra's song "Online". The song became a hit on radio stations in 2007.
In 2014, the first releases of the two Jelgava artists' joint project Soulnoise were released on the Electronique UK label, and they quickly rose up the charts of industry professionals. We've been waiting for the follow-up to this project and on Friday 5 August at TheRoom LIVE | 10 years of secrets event, the SOULNOISE project - Electricano B2B Uppfade will be seen in action!
