DJ T. - LIVE DJ SET@ TheRoom I Avantgarden, Riga 2021

A video of the legendary DJ T's performance at TheRoom I Avantgarden 2021 has been posted on the Get Physical Music YouTube channel.

The special guest at the 2021 TheRoom dance music event "Avantgarden" was one of the world class DJ/producers - DJ T. This was the first performance in Latvia for the legendary German DJ, founder of the Get Physical record label and Groove magazine.

There isn't a person who listens to house, techhouse and techno music who hasn't heard of Berlin-based Get Physical. The label was founded in 2002 by Berlin DJ duo MANDY, Booka Shade and Tomas Koch, who as DJ T was already a household name in the music industry. Alongside regular DJ sets at the Music Hall, Dorian Grey, Plastik, XS and The Box, in 1989 he launched Groove magazine, for which he also writes as editor. For several decades, this magazine became the most influential publication in continental European club culture.

In the 2000s, DJ T's releases became a fundamental sound in European dance halls and clubs. Following the Monsterbaze EP, Get Physical's subsequent albums Playground (2005), The Inner Jukebox (2009) and The Pleasure Principle (2011) have gone down in electronic dance music gold. In 2020, DJ T's latest studio album "Trans Orient Express", released on Get Physical Music, saw the light of day. The focus of musical relevance in the electronic music industry is constantly changing, but DJ T has been one of the most important figures in the contemporary electronic dance music industry for three decades.

Get Physical Music YouTube channel features a live video of the legendary German producer and DJ performing at the Avantgarden by TheRoom event, which took place in Riga last summer on 20 August, at a secret venue already following theRoom tradition. Together with DJ T., a cult figure of the German electronic music scene, the prominent Latvian DJs Kaspar Kondrat and Uppfade also performed at theRoom AvantGarden event
