TheRoom LIVE 10 Years of Secrets will host Finnebassen
On Friday, August 5, the 10th anniversary event of the electronic dance music resource The Room live will take place in Riga.For the first time in Latvia, the best-selling global deep house DJ/producer of the decade - Finnebassen from Scandinavia - will perform.
Finnebassen's first club smash 'Touching Me' and the subsequent remix 'If Your Girl Only Knew' featuring vocals from r&b diva Aaliyah were released in 2012 and served as the cornerstone for the young producer and DJ's successful career. The remix of 'If Your Girl Only Knew' was streamed 265 million times on leading music streaming platforms and 'Touching Me' topped almost every major deep house chart of 2012, including Pete Tong's on BBC Radio 1.
Over the past decade, Finnebassen has become the best-selling deep house producer and professional chart leader of the decade.
Subsequent originals and remixes such as 'You're Not Cool Enough', 'When It Rains', 'What You Do', 'Every Day Of The Week', 'Nightshift' etc. only strengthened his position on the global scene, topping the Itunes Top 10, Traxsource charts and becoming the most played track on the Beatport Nu Disco charts, while the music he created revolutionised the sound of the deep house genre.
In the house music genre, it has become hard to think of a single DJ set that doesn't include one of Finnebassen's tracks or remixes. Leaders of the electronic music scene such as Solomun, Hot Since 82, Sasha, Maceo Plex, Atapy, Djuma Soundsystem, Alex Niggerman, Hunter/Game, The Mekanism, Blond:ish and others are his most visible followers.
